When I woke up this morning, I never would have imagined.

This seemingly normal friday, the fifth day of the fifth month. This morning, a day to be celebrated by Mexicans.

Well, for a few days I did pretty good at posting on this here thang, but then I just got too busy.

So, UPDATE TIME.

Yesterday was the first day of FreeCon 2006, a free anime convention run by JACT (Japanese Animation Club of Tallahassee, or some shit), the anime club at FSU. It's small, but it's the only thing Tallahassee has in terms of an anime convention, so people need to support it, that it may grow. Pretty much everything they're showing (both yesterday and what will be shown today), I've seen. Yesterday I just watched a few random things (Kodomo no Omocha, a bit of Mai Hime, Beck), hung around where my friend Jaelle was selling some stuff, and participated in the artist contest, where I drew beautiful renditions of Rock Lee WRYYYYYYY!!!ing Robin from Witch Hunter Robin and the RX-78 Gundam, from that one show. I also bought all of Orguss 02 from some guy, on VHS (Orguss 02 on VHS, not the guy). It's dubbed... it wasn't bad, actually. Had pretty good dialogue, and most of the voices weren't too bad, though the main character had funny inflections at times.

Today I'm going just to watch Gunbuster, pretty much the best show ever.

In other news, since my last update, some new shows have started, and I've started watching some old shows, so I'll describe those in as little detail as possible, as I'm ought to do. But not now.

There's a lot of anime out there. I try to watch as much as I can, minus the stuff that just doesn't seem interesting to me. So... here're my opinions on some of the stuff I'm currently watching.

Haha! I just finished watching Record of Lodoss War for the millionth time, and decided to see if this account name existed (well, first I checked knight_of_lodoss, but it seems that's 1 character too long for a name on lj) and it didn't. And being so I took it. Now I have to figure out something to use this account for!

I'm thinking I'll make this into my anime account. Anything I want to say about anime goes here. Funny pictures, news, random thoughts, rants, and so on.
